Comments |
The Aardvark is an unusual looking animal with some very distinct physical characteristics. It's body is well made to suit it's habit of feeding on ant hills and termite mounds. It has a small, tubular mouth with a long, thin, sticky snakelike tongue, a very acute sense of smell and sharp, tough front claws for digging. It's tough skin protects it from the stinging and biting insects it likes to feast on and It's acute hearing alerts it to any advancing predators. |
