Lodging: |
We always stay in Bryce Canyon Lodge. Book early through www.xanterra.com. Rates tend to be high in summer.
Motels are also available outside the park but staying in the park is very convenient for moonrise or sunrise. It's fun, too. |
Meals: |
Restaurants are available in the park but can be a bit pricey, especially for families with kids. The food is good but a drive outside the park will offer some meal alternatives. |
Sightseeing: |
This is an in-your-face, just drive around and see it all kind of adventure. If you can't drive to it you can walk to it. |
Good points: |
Scenically, just about everything, especially when the moon is full. |
Bad points: |
Crowded in summer, but what National Park isn't? |
Transportation: |
Self driving is the best way to get around but there is a shuttle service available. |
Comments: |
Watching a full moonrise in Bryce is an unbelievable experience. Do it with someone you love. Oh, and don't forget to bring a tripod! |
